Rocky Ponds Produce is seeking for skilled and motivated Diesel Motor Mechanics/Diesel Mechanics to join their team. If you have a strong mechanical background and enjoy working on a variety of diesel-powered agricultural equipment, they would love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel-powered agricultural equipment, packing machinery, pumps, and other farm-related machinery.

  2. Assist with routine preventative maintenance and servicing to ensure equipment runs efficiently and downtime is minimized.

  3. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues through fault-finding efforts.

  4. Maintain and organize workshop tools and equipment.

  5. Travel to various farm locations with a company-provided vehicle to carry out repairs as needed.

  6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Strong knowledge of machinery, vehicle, and equipment maintenance.

  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  3. Relevant Trade Qualifications (essential).

  4. Mechanically minded individuals encouraged to apply.

  5. Current Manual Drivers Licence (essential).

  6. Experience driving tractors (advantageous).

  7. Forklift and truck licenses (advantageous).

  8. Excellent work ethic and high-quality workmanship.
