Cold Storage All-Round Forklift Operator

Our client, a leader in the warehousing and distribution sector, are currently seeking a reliable All-round Storeman / Forklift Operator to join a successful and growing team in the PRESTONS Region.

Positions will be casual with an opportunity to go permanent for the right candidates.

Position Brief Below

  • Monday – Friday Shifts
  • 5AM start times
  • 6 – 8  hour shifts with flexibility to work 10 hours in peak periods
  • Pay Rate: $41.71
  • Chiller / Cold Store Environment
  • Weekly Roster Provided
  • Well established and growing business

The duties will involve but be limited to:

  • Operation of Both High Reach and Counter Balance Forklifts
  • Operation of RF Units
  • Loading and unloading of trucks / incoming goods
  • Labelling products for dispatch
  • Wrapping pallets and orders
  • Stock Replenishment & Put away

To be considered for this role, you MUST:

  • Minimum 2-3 years operating Counter balance and High Reach Forklifts
  • RF unit Operation Experience A MUST
  • Previous experience working in cold temperature condition highly desirable
  • Good attitude and willingness to learn
  • RELIABLE AND PUNCTUAL
  • Great with numeracy and counting
  • Must be team player
  • Good communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work
  • Physically fit as there will be manual handling involved
  • Have your OWNreliable transport
  • Be flexible with work hours
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must have full work rights in Australia
