Trainee – Paediatric Position

Eligibility:
- Minimum of 4 years postgraduate experience with recent broad experience in Paediatrics, including neonates
- General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
- IMG's that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
- IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
- IMG's assessed by RACP College as partially or substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with RACP may express their interest)
The Position:
The Hospital's Paediatric Department have new opportunities available for Trainee Paediatric doctors to join their dynamic team.
- Provide clinical care to paediatric and neonatal patients, both inpatient and outpatient, as well as consultation services
- Work under supervision to evaluate and oversee the treatment of infants and children across various settings, including the Neonatal Unit, Children's Ward, Paediatric Assessment Unit, and Emergency Department.
- RACP accredited for Advanced Training in General Paediatrics
The hospital is experienced at working with overseas trained doctors; therefore it is easy to comply with the AHPRA regulations and demonstrate supervision and monitoring in your placement. Provide a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

Thanks to a recent and substantial $100 million transformation and redevelopment effort, the facility now boasts over 500 beds, significantly enhancing its capacity to serve the community's healthcare needs.
