Metal Fabricator / Installer - Wetherill Park, Sydney NSW

Employment Type: Full-time

We're seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator / Installer to join our team, specialising in the fabrication and installation of bespoke metal staircases, balustrades, and architectural features. This role involves a mix of factory-based work and on-site installation.

We are especially interested in candidates with TIG welding experience, as this skill is highly valued for the precision and finish required in our projects.

What You'll Do

  • Fabricate metal staircases, balustrades, and components in the workshop
  • Install completed products on-site with precision and high-quality finishes
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and technical plans
  • Carry out onsite adjustments and welding (TIG welding highly desirable)
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure safe work practices
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and clients to deliver seamless outcomes
  • Uphold WHS, quality, and compliance standards at all times

About You

  • Previous experience in metal fabrication and installation (staircases/balustrades highly regarded)
  • TIG welding experience highly desirable
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • White Card (Construction Induction) essential
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
