Hampton Smiles, formerly Sparkle Dental Care Bayside, is a well established dental clinic in the bayside suburb of Hampton having serviced the community for over 40 years.

Role Description

This is a full/part time role as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist at Hampton Smiles. As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you will be responsible for supporting oral health care professionals in providing treatment to patients. Your day-to-day tasks may include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing dental instruments, assisting during procedures, taking and developing X-rays, and providing patient education and postoperative instructions.

Qualifications

  • Certificate Ill in Dental Assisting or equivalent ideal however trainees with a passion will be considered
  • Excellent understanding of dental procedures and terminology
  • Proficiency in taking dental radiographs, including bitewing and periapical X-rays
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with oral health care professionals
  • Demonstrated empathy and compassion towards patients
  • Willingness to follow infection control and sterilization protocols
  • Knowledge of Dental 4 Windows software and electronic health records is a plus
  • Current CPR certification

Pay: $25.00 – $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
