Join a leading Australian food manufacturer with a proud history of quality, innovation, and growth. They are currently expanding production, improving processes, and looking for skilled operators ready to be part of this exciting transformation.

As a Machine / Production Operator, you'll play a key role in maintaining smooth, safe, and efficient production across various lines. You'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting machinery, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production machinery to maintain optimal performance
  • Identify and resolve minor faults or stoppages to keep production on track
  • Ensure consistent output, accuracy, and quality within set timeframes
  • Work in accordance with SOPs, HACCP, and site safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your work area
  • Contribute to process and quality improvements through initiative and feedback
  • Work on a rotating roster (one week on day, one week on afternoon)

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing (dairy experience highly regarded)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Understanding of HACCP and food safety standards (or willingness to learn)
  • Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus
