As the Principal Integration Engineer, you'll be the architectural cornerstone, shaping integration solutions and supporting strategies across the enterprise. You'll act as a trusted advisor and overall guide to ensure alignment between business and technical teams, driving integration excellence.
With extensive experience in integration technologies, including Microsoft Azure, you will lead the development of future-proof architectures that enhance business agility and operational efficiency. You'll work with stakeholders across all levels ensuring solutions are innovative, well communicated, and have strategic alignment.
About the role
- Design, implement, and optimise enterprise-based integration solutions in support of business objectives
- Develop and deliver integration strategies, roadmaps, operational assessments, technical standards, and capability reviews
- Act as an overall integration guide, leading technical maturity improvement initiatives and providing leadership and mentorship to technical teams
- Lead the development of application, information, and infrastructure architectures for seamless integration across systems
- Define and implement integration related frameworks, guardrails, and controls ensuring solutions and processes are consistent, optimised, and comply with relevant service acceptance criteria, risk tolerances, policies and standards of the Bank
- Provide governance and support across design and decision authorities and architecture reviews
- Provide expertise in Microsoft Azure-based integration, leveraging cloud technologies to drive scalable and efficient solutions
- Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance integration capabilities and business agility
- Maintain strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and alignment
- Resolve integration challenges and drive continuous improvement
About you
- Proven expertise in enterprise-wide integration architecture, acting as a strategic guide for technical teams
- Strong technology leadership skills with extensive Microsoft Azure knowledge of integration patterns and aligning solutions to the Microsoft Well Architected Framework
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, influencing decision-makers at all levels
- Experience designing scalable, cloud-based integration solutions that align with business goals
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, ensuring architectural support for agile project teams
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and cloud-based alternatives
