This is a great opportunity for a motivated and customer service orientated Taxi Driver to become a vital part of a growing team within a family owned business.

Des's Group is a family owned business with experience in personal transport for over 50 years. It is versatile with its individual companies distributed throughout various locations in SA.

Due to continuous growth, we currently have a requirement for Taxi Drivers on a full-time or part-time basis, weekdays or weekends, dayshifts and night shifts available.

Reporting directly to the Manager this position will have the responsibilities for the following:

  • Ensure the passenger receives a safe and enjoyable trip at all times
  • Deliver a level of service that exceeds our customers expectations
  • Ensure smart working practices are followed to ensure good dollar return per km
  • Provide and maintain a safe workplace in accordance with OHS policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • A full SA drivers licence (essential)

  • A Small Passenger Vehicle Driver Accreditation (not essential but an advantage) Des's will guide you through the easy accreditation process (if not accredited)

  • A proven safe driving record

  • Well-developed personal communication skills
  • A high level of customer service skills
  • Good record keeping skills
  • Good money handling skills
  • The ability to listen and communicate well
  • A good understanding of Australian Road Rules
  • A good, sound working knowledge of the local town, streets, areas and activities
