Position Overview:

The Installation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and inspecting sites across NSW to ensure they are prepared correctly prior to the commencement of home elevator installations. This role involves working closely with the Project Manager, Project Operations, internal Builders, Installers, and customers' builders to ensure all build works meet the requirements for a smooth installation process.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Inspections

  • Inspect sites before installation to confirm compliance with lift specifications.
  • Sign off on building works prior to installation.
  • Liaise with builders and trades to ensure lift shafts meet requirements.

Project Monitoring

  • Report progress and upcoming job status to the Project Manager.
  • Document progress and ensure any issues are resolved before installation.
  • Support installers by resolving minor onsite issues or escalating to the PM as needed.

Liaison and Coordination

  • Coordinate with Project Ops, builders, and installers to maintain build compliance.
  • Ensure smooth installations, providing onsite solutions or escalating issues promptly.
  • Offer technical advice to sales staff on pricing or project feasibility.
  • Liaise with PM and logistics for timely site deliveries.

Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure adherence to company OHS policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records in Simpro and Safetyminder systems.
  • Participate in toolbox meetings.

Problem Solving

  • Proactively resolve onsite issues to minimise delays.
  • Collaborate with PM and installers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Work with customers and builders to achieve positive results for all parties.

Key Requirements and Personal Attributes:

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in lift installation
  • Valid driving licence
