Why Pathology Queensland
Pathology Queensland (PQ) is a leading provider of comprehensive diagnostic and laboratory services with 35 laboratories located across Queensland. PQ is critical to the delivery of healthcare in Queensland and with a multidisciplinary team of 2,000 people, we're involved in 70 per cent of all medical decisions and in all cancer diagnoses. With a strong research and clinical improvement culture, we also support more than 450 point-of-care testing devices, extending access to care in more places.
On top of a generous base salary, medical practitioners also receive additional allowances including motor vehicle, professional development and retention and attraction (50% of base salary). Dependent on location a rural retention and attraction allowance (5% of base salary) and locality allowance may also apply to form the total salary.
