We're seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team in a full-time temporary role to cover parental leave for 12 months. This role commences in November 2025.
This is an ideal opportunity for a creative professional with a strong background in graphic design and project management. You'll step into a small but dynamic team, driving creative output across both print and digital channels while managing stakeholder relationships and overseeing project workflows.
As a creative, you'll play a vital role in supporting the growth of our four Sydney-based independent Catholic schools, bringing together your design expertise and strategic marketing mindset to deliver impactful, mission-aligned creative work.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creative Production – Produce creative assets across print and digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Project & Stakeholder Management - Manage incoming design requests, set timelines, and liaise with internal stakeholders to clarify briefs and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Team Collaboration - Provide support to marketing members and collaborate with virtual assistants, ensuring work meets brand and project standards and is delivered in a timely manner. Provide hands-on support at Open Day and Marketing events.
- Marketing Strategy Alignment - Contribute to marketing campaign planning and ensure designs support strategic goals across school initiatives and events.
- Brand Guardianship - Ensure consistent and correct use of brand assets across all materials and platforms and maintain the design asset library.
- Template & Document Design - Create branded templates for Word, PowerPoint, and other internal/external documents to maintain visual consistency and usability across the organisation.
Key skills and experienced required for this role include:
- Proven experience in a graphic design role, with a strong portfolio across print and digital media
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Experience designing for email platforms, websites, and social media, familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress)
- Experience using file-sharing and project management tools (e.g. Google Drive, SharePoint, Dropbox, , Asana) for efficient collaboration
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a small team
- Excellent communication skills, effective time management and deadline focused
- Creative flare and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail
- Experience in faith-based or educational publishing/design (desirable)
The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a current NSW Working with Children Check. Access to a reliable vehicle and a current drivers' licence is required for travel between Pared School sites on occasion.
