About Us:

A1 Blinds is a well-established Melbourne manufacturer and installer of high-quality window furnishings. With decades of industry experience and a reputation built on great service and craftsmanship, we're expanding our outdoor team and looking for a motivated and experienced installer to join us.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a fit, energetic, and experienced outdoor blinds installer to join our team in a full-time, hands-on role. The successful applicant will report daily to our Clayton South factory and showroom and work across Melbourne installing and servicing products from our outdoor range – including folding arm awnings, eZips or similar systems, and traditional sunblind awnings.

This is not an entry-level role. You must have proven experience installing external blinds and demonstrate a strong ability to assess and repair blinds on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install external blinds and awnings to a high standard
  • Accurately assess and carry out repair work
  • Ensure all jobs meet safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Represent A1 Blinds with professionalism on-site

What You'll Need

  • Solid experience with outdoor blind systems: folding arms, eZips, sunblinds
  • Excellent problem-solving and repair skills – this is critical to success
  • Fit and physically capable – the role involves lifting, ladders, and active work
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
  • Current driver's licence
