Reeds Consulting is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices in Melbourne CBD and Hallam. We provide civil engineering, land surveying and town planning services for land development, subdivision, building projects and infrastructure across Greater Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Engineer - Civil to join our highly committed, energetic and respected team.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of projects, including land development, roads, drainage, utilities, and urban infrastructure. You'll gain hands-on experience in civil design, project delivery, and client collaboration while developing your technical skills in industry-standard software.

About You:

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil) - completed or about to complete - if so part-time commencement moving to full-time upon completion possible
  • A passion for design, problem-solving, and innovation
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment with analytical and flexible mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to plan and prioritise demands and deadlines
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Experience using AutoCAD highly regarded (or willing to learn)
  • Legal right to permanently work and reside in Australia (mandatory)
  • Hold a valid Victorian Driver's License

About the Role:

  • Prepare and amend designs, drawings and computations in accordance with work procedures
  • Take quantities from drawings and assist in the preparation of computer generated schedules and estimates as required
  • Carry out instructions as directed by the Manager Infrastructure and Design / Engineering Director
  • Liaise with service authorities, Councils and other colleagues during projects
