Australian Native Products (ANP) is a leading producer of Lemon Myrtle, grown organically on our farm near Mareeba. We are currently seeking reliable, physically fit individuals to join our team as Casual Farm Hand/Labourer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with planting and ongoing care of trees
  • Hand weeding, mulching, and maintaining tree health without the use of chemicals
  • Harvest preparation and general groundskeeping
  • Supporting irrigation setup, maintenance, and monitoring
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of tools, equipment, and work areas
  • Recording fieldwork data where required
  • Safely operating hand tools and basic machinery
  • Complying with all workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must be capable of manual labour, including physically demanding tasks, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Our farms are located 10mins outside of Mareeba, so you must have access to reliable transport and accommodation.
