We are a busy and expanding, seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and friendly and knowledgeable accountant to guide our organisation's financial operations, preparing financial reports, performing audits, ensuring compliance, and providing advice on budgeting and financial planning to improve our financial systems.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following;

• Background in tax, BAS and general accounting knowledge. 

• High level of presentation and communication skills

• Driven, eager, enthusiastic – great work ethic

• Degree in accounting.

Major Responsibilities/ Accountabilities


• Perform all accounting activities (GL, Assets, etc.) and ensure accuracy and compliance

• Prepare all monthly journal entries.

• Perform monthly reconciliations as assigned

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/ year-end closing as directed

• Prepare monthly and annual and statutory returns

•
• Assist with establishing internal controls and monitoring compliance

• Complete all monthly/quarterly/annual reporting as required.

• Ongoing review and document of accounting processes

• Investigate anomalies identified to determine root causes and offer solutions to improve process and ensuring compliance with processes and internal controls

• Drive and support continuous improvement by supporting management initiatives and developing & documenting new processes

• Execute and/or support special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
