Wood is recruiting for an Mechanical Technician (Offshore) to join our Operations APAC (West) business in Perth to support one of our key clients in Oil & Gas on a major brownfields Engineering Service Contract.

If you would like to play a key role and be part of a fast-growing offshore crew, then this could be the one for you.

This is a casual contract on a 3:3 FIFO roster with 12-hour day or night shift.

Wood's "Operations" APAC West business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation, and technical services to the Oil & Gas industry and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.

You will have:

  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to pass an offshore pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen
  • Proven experience working in Oil & Gas offshore industry
  • An ability to communicate well at all levels

  • BOSIET/T-BOSIET + CA-EBS or FOET/T-FOET + CA-EBS – 4 year validity
  • MSIC
  • RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights – 2 year validity
  • Mechanical Trade Cert (Cert III/Cert IV)
  • Flange Management Level 1 -3 – 3 year validity
  • Escape Chute
