Reporting to the Head of Finance within the Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) division, this role will be the primary contact for interpretation and analysis of financial reports, explanation of budgets/forecasts, and calculation of project costing and bidding rates.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with the F&BO leadership team to formulate medium to long-term financial plans
• Analyse and challenge submissions made by department heads during annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting
• Report to the CFO on KPIs and variances between actuals and forecasts
• Manage the framework for and supervise analytical support provided to business managers via the Finance function
• Create presentations that provide insightful analysis
• Produce financial models that allow real-time monitoring of KPIs or assist the Finance team in improving efficiencies
• Assist the Finance Manager on month-end close tasks that require detailed data analysis
• Calculate project costing rates annually and participate in the process of getting customer agreement
• Utilise BI tools to improve management reporting and operating efficiencies

About you:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant analytical experience
• Ability to produce, analyse, and interpret complex reports and management information
• Significant analytical skillset, including the utilisation of Power BI and Advanced Excel
• Professional qualifications such as CA/CPA or CFA

Professional experience in a Finance function supporting a project-based environment involving stakeholder reporting, cost management, budget development and analysis would be highly desirable.
