Senior Children's Coach – MyFirstGym Coomera

We're on the lookout for an experienced, confident, and fun Coach to inspire the next generation of movers

At MyFirstGym Coomera, we help kids build skills for life through ninja, parkour, gymnastics, tumbling, boxing, and early childhood movement — and we'll provide the programs and full training so you can deliver them with confidence.

About the Role

You'll coach energetic classes, create magic moments for kids of all abilities, and help foster a community that families love being part of.

Core Coaching Hours

Monday – 8:30–11:00am

Tuesday – 3:00–7:15pm

Wednesday – 8:30–11:00am

Friday – 8:30–11:00am

Additional hours available for the right person — including admin support, additional classes, weekend mornings, parties, and special events.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coaching engaging sessions across our programs (Ninja, Parkour, Gymnastics, Tumbling, Junior Development, Boxing, Fit & Strong)
  • Using your experience to bring energy, confidence, and creativity to every class
  • Creating memorable experiences for families that build connection and community
  • Assisting with bookings, enquiries, and occasional social posts
  • Running birthday parties and special events
  • Helping keep our gym clean, safe, and fun
  • Learning and applying the MyFirstGym Development Journey

Must-Haves

  • Certificate III in Fitness (minimum)
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Blue Card (paid employee)
  • Experience working with children
  • Understanding of what's age-appropriate (e.g. 2 vs 4 yo, 5 vs 8 yo)

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience in one or more of our program areas
  • Strong customer service or admin skills
  • Experience supporting kids with diverse needs
  • Social media or marketing experience
  • Birthday party or group activity experience
