Our precinct also includes our five-star luxury hotel Ardo and Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre (TECC).

About the role 

As a Porter you play an integral part of each guest's experience, ensuring every guest has an authentic and personal experience, creating a pleasant and memorable visit. Your responsibilities include assisting guests with luggage and valet parking, responding to guest queries in relation to restaurants, hotel room types, promotions, and events.

*About you*

• Hold a current Class C Drivers' licence with the ability to drive manual transmission
• Experience in a customer focused role, with the willingness to exceed guest's expectations
• Exceptional communication skills, with an immaculate presentation
• Physical ability to lift and carry luggage and perform tasks requiring moderate physical effort.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle guest's luggage in an efficient and secure manner
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with a property management system, in particular Opera Cloud would be advantageous
• Ability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
