We are seeking a Centre Director for our 95-place, family-owned and operated centre located in Mayfield West.

Imagine Early Learning & Childcare - Mayfield is architecturally designed, locally-owned and operated by an Early Childhood Teacher with over 35 years' Early Childhood experience, and maintains an emphasis on indoor-outdoor, play-based learning, sustainability and managed risky play. Key responsibilities of the Centre Director role:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with Imagine's policies and procedures
• Oversee compliance with all regulations
• Mentor and inspire your team to create a nurturing and engaging environment for children and families
• Foster lasting connections with our families and the local community
• Together with the Educational Leader and 2IC, oversee excellence in educational practice

About you: you will have -

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification, or higher
• A comprehensive working knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, NQS and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
• Experience in a Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor role
• A current Working with Children's Check
• Demonstrated experience in meeting safety and compliance standards, particularly where these relate to Child Safety and Protection
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A high level of initiative and a commitment to ongoing learning
