About our role:
Northern Star has a new & exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Maintenance Planner to join us at our world-class Jundee operations. This position is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off permanent roster, with FIFO ex Perth. The Senior Maintenance Planner reports to the Maintenance Superintendent, and the primary role is to oversee, develop, implement and maintain maintenance strategies in Pronto for Maintenance teams in a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all work practices/procedures meet statutory, company OHS&E and company operational standards within the Maintenance Department.

- Monitoring, updating and executing the shutdown planning function (Forecast and Planning of maintenance work orders using Pronto XI)
- Monitoring and executing set shutdown weekly cadence objectives efficiently.
- Overseeing, organising, reviewing and raising vendor Purchase Orders for labour and material requirements.
- Compliance to cost management and budget requirements while shutdown planning work orders.
- The use of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Project) to assist in tracking and completing the above points listed.
- Contribute to the planning process that enables production and processing optimisation and demonstrate support for management.
To thrive in this role, you'll need...
- Experience: 5 years' experience in a similar role; previous use of Pronto or similar CMMS, knowledge of fixed plant equipment, maintenance principles and their application in practice.
- Qualifications: Electrical/Mechanical Trade Qualification (desirable); frontline management or equivalent (desirable); current Australian Driver's Licence
