About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Caravan Service Technician to join our team at JB Caravans' in Newcastle, New South Wales. As a full-time Caravan Service Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our clients' caravans to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting thorough inspections of caravans to identify any issues or required maintenance
2. Carrying out scheduled servicing and repairs on caravans, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work
3. Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems to ensure caravans are roadworthy and functioning correctly
4. Maintaining detailed records of all work completed and parts used
5. Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

1. Relevant trade qualifications in caravan servicing or a related automotive field
2. Extensive experience (3+ years) as a Caravan Service Technician or in a similar role
3. Strong technical skills and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of caravan issues
4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
5. Effective communication and customer service skills
6. A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate a range of caravan servicing equipment
