About the role

Due to continued expansion, we're looking highly skilled and dedicated Control Room Operators, Rovers and a Dockmaster to join our team at EGroup Protective Services Group Pty Ltd. These are Full-Time positions, offering the opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Knowledge of Control Room Duties, CCTV, Fire Control Panels, Access Control systems and the ability to conduct Rover Duties
  • Patrolling of the facilities, providing a physical security presence, escorting contractors on request and as directed
  • Facilitation and coordination of the loading dock, signing in contactors and ensuing inductions and compliance
  • An understanding of WH&S and the ability to identify & manage risks
  • Ability to be able to communicate with multiple stakeholders across various backgrounds
  • Coordinate adhoc locking or unlocking of areas for contractors, tenants or premises management (subject to approvals).
  • Complete required audits and tests throughout the shift as required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
  • Must be physically fit or prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical
  • Ability to work a rotating roster days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate level with Microsoft suite of products including outlook, word and excel desirable
  • Administrative tasks as required, including checking for new paperwork, incident reports, handovers, hazard reports and client permits
