PURPOSE
At PERSUIT, we're transforming how in-house legal teams and law firms work together. As a Senior Product Manager, you will take full ownership of delivering product capabilities from discovery through launch, ensuring they solve meaningful customer problems, drive measurable outcomes, and strengthen our competitive edge.
You'll work at the intersection of product, design, and engineering, facilitating trade-off discussions, making informed decisions, and ensuring delivery stays aligned to our strategy. This role is ideal for a SaaS-focused product manager who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and takes accountability for results, not just releases.
This role manages the Strategic Sourcing domain, which covers the journey our clients and firms take through matter intake, legal sourcing, and engagement. The domain includes some of the most established parts of the platform as well as the creation of new functionality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PRODUCT DISCOVERY & STRATEGY
- Lead discovery to identify and validate customer problems through research, interviews, and data analysis.
- Maintain a roadmap that links near-term delivery to long-term strategic goals. Own and update an opportunity backlog with validated customer problems and hypotheses.
- Translate insights into product-area vision, including north-star metrics and multi-quarter outlook.
- Participate in build vs buy decisions to ensure we deliver the best solutions for customers and the business.
- Define and measure success within the domain area as well as for each roadmap initiative.
- Keep ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitive moves to inform product direction.
- Incorporate AI into product strategy responsibly, ensuring bias, privacy, and compliance considerations are addressed.
- Partner with engineering and data teams on evaluation and monitoring of AI models.
CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Partner with engineering to design scalable, technically feasible solutions that align with product vision.
- Collaborate with design to ensure user workflows are intuitive, consistent, and meet high usability standards.
- The squad includes a Product Designer and cross-functional stakeholders across two main regions - though we are a global business. Flexibility to work asynchronously and effectively in a distributed team is essential.
- You will be part of an optimistic, high-performing squad with strong ownership and accountability, where you can make an immediate impact without needing to uplift or transform team performance.
- Facilitate discussions to resolve design/technical trade-offs while keeping delivery on track.
- Align with sales, marketing, enablement, and customer success to deliver seamless go-to-market launches.
OWNERSHIP OF DELIVERY & OUTCOMES
- Own and manage the backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity for development teams.
- Drive delivery through Agile processes, proactively removing blockers and managing dependencies.
- Define instrumentation/telemetry requirements for all new features within the portfolio.
- Measure success using product analytics, customer feedback, and business impact, iterating where needed.
- Make timely decisions in ambiguous situations, balancing speed, quality, and scope.
- Partner with Sales and CS to support customers (Client facing), identify and enable upsell/expansion opportunities.
- Prepare 'go to market' strategies and materials, partnering with Product Marketing.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS B2B or enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated success in delivering end-to-end SaaS products from concept through launch.
- Strong technical fluency - able to participate in architecture trade-offs with engineering.
- Highly skilled at working across product, design, and engineering with a shared sense of ownership.
- Strong problem-solving ability, comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Pendo) to track product usage and guide decisions.
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working, backlog prioritization, and sprint rituals.
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of incoming customer requests, identify minimum viable improvements, and prioritise enhancements that maximise impact while optimising team capacity.
- (Preferred) AI is at the core of everything we do, from leveraging large language models (LLMs) to building AI-driven experiences to implementing fully agentic AI experiences. Experience with AI product development, particularly in these areas, is highly desirable.
- (Preferred) Experience procurement, legal teacher in other compliance-heavy industries.
