About the role

Gosnells Family Practice is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team. As a part-time Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our patients in a collaborative, primary care setting.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting doctors with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures
  • Administering vaccinations, injections, and other nursing interventions
  • Conducting health assessments, care plans, screenings, and patient education
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with medical protocols
  • Coordinating patient care and liaising with other healthcare providers
  • Ensuring the clinical environment is well-organised and appropriately stocked
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the medical practice

What we're looking for

  • Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a general practice or primary care setting
  • Strong clinical skills and expertise in nursing procedures and patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the healthcare team
  • Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technologies
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of a busy medical practice
