The Role
We believe in the talent and strength of our team, so that, in aim to keep growing together, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Gransolar Australia team.
Lead the procurement process negotiating with suppliers and the coordination with the different departments (engineering, legal, construction, quality, HSE, insurance). Ensuring the compliance with all the requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Monitor, raise and control the procurement plan and following up under the construction plan.
· Consolidate, review and request for quotation of projects during the tender phase and projects already award.
· Feed the procurement plan, request technical specifications to the engineering department, raise comparative and manufacture report.
· Firm bidding for projects that ensure the best procurement option based on economic, commercial and technical offer.
· Monitoring and reporting of customer operations and project management ensuring visibility to all parties
· Control of the budget.
· Monitoring of procurement providers.
· Liaising with suppliers to ensure manufacture requirements are met and on track.
· Provide innovations and ideas focused on reducing supplies costs to be under budget.
Skills & Experience Required:
· Engineering or Account/legal degree.
· International trade degree.
· years' experience in a similar position working with projects.
· Renewable energy project preferred solar farms. Supplier portfolio.
· Knowledge of international and Australian market.
· Understanding procurement process, LOA, contracts
