Little bit about the role

As Program Manager, you will:

  • Lead a team of Specialist Family Violence Practitioners to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed case management to victim survivors.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with local, regional, and statewide family violence networks.
  • Ensure compliance with Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM), the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS) and the Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS) and all other relevant frameworks and guidelines.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call roster to support crisis response.
  • Drive service improvement, staff mentoring, and strategic leadership.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership and management experience in family violence services.
  • A degree in Social Work, Counselling, or equivalent (as per Victorian mandatory qualifications).
  • Strong ability to manage crisis services, support team development, and navigate complex client needs.
  • Expertise in risk assessment, trauma-informed practice, and family violence frameworks.
  • High-level stakeholder engagement and advocacy skills.
  • A valid Victorian Driver Licence, Working with Children Check, and satisfactory police check.
