We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Sales/Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

Based in Yatala QLD | 38 Hours a week

You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining our store's presentation, and supporting the efficient operations of our warehouse.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, every second Saturday 8-1.

Hourly rate: $34.48 an hour at a casual rate

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (training provided if required).
  • Load and unload deliveries for customers efficiently and safely.
  • Receive stock and manage inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Pick and pack customers' orders with attention to detail.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone.
  • Assist customers with product selection, order processing, and general inquiries.
  • Support monthly stocktakes and inventory audits.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, safe and productive warehouse environment.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in retail or sales, ideally in building supplies or home improvement.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Forklift licence preferred (Or willing to obtain one)
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy materials.
  • Detail-oriented with a tidy organised approach.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and sales systems.
