About the role

Support Enrolled and Registered Nurses in delivering high-quality patient care across paediatric and neonatal services. Assist with daily living activities, provide person-centred care, and contribute to a safe and efficient healthcare environment.

Key duties of the role

• Assist nurses with routine patient care and daily living activities
• Prepare equipment, manage stock, and support nursing procedures
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, culturally sensitive environment
• Participate in quality improvement through data recording and reporting
• Support learning and competency development within the nursing team

Skills and Experience

• Enrolled 2nd-year (or above) Bachelor of Nursing student
• Completed all required first-year subjects and employer training
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of person-centred care and nursing/healthcare standards
