Position Full Time Casual:

Brushwood Fencing Australia is seeking a skilled and experienced Fencing and Gate Installer to join our team based in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of fences and gates, including timber, aluminum, and brushwood, ensuring all work meets our safety and quality standards. This is a great opportunity to apply your expertise in the building trades industry while contributing to the success of a growing and reputable business.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and maintain a variety of fencing types, including timber, aluminum, and brushwood.

Assemble and install gates with precise functionality and alignment.

Measure and cut materials to size for installation.

Operate power and hand tools safely and efficiently.

Assist with loading materials onto vehicles.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Work collaboratively to complete projects on time and to the highest standard.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of fencing installation experience or 3 years in a skilled trades role.

Strong knowledge of fencing and gate materials, installation methods, and safety practices.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (preferred).

Skilled in using power and hand tools with attention to detail.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to drive manual preferred.

Strong communication skills to liaise with clients when needed.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday: Start at 7:00 am on-site, with finish times typically around 3:30–4:00 pm.

Saturday: Occasional morning work once every 5 to 6 weeks (1–2 hours) for material deliveries at the warehouse, equipped with a forklift.
