About us

Arrana Restaurant in the beautiful NSW Blue Mountains town of Springwood is a standout regional restaurant in the Australian Good Food Guide winning TWO CHEFS HATS in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 as well as Regional Restaurant of the year 3 years running 2023, 2024 and 2025.

We are a degustation style Fine Dining Restaurant which showcases Australia's native products in every dish. We also offer wine pairings and Non- Alcoholic Cocktail pairings as an option to our guests.

About the position

We are seeking mature, outgoing, confident, professional & motivated front of house staff who have hospitality experience and provide exceptional customer service and ensure a memorable experience for our guests.

This position would best suit a university student or a mature age person returning to the workforce.  We are looking for staff with an outgoing personality, friendly and professional at all times  We need people who are passionate about food and have a good knowledge of wines and beers.

Our restaurant opens for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and lunch on Friday and Saturday.  Shifts would vary around these times and could range from 1-5 shifts per week.

Essential

· Non-smoker.

· Must be over 18 years of age.

· Available for weekend work.

Qualifications & experience

· Prior fine dining experience preferred.

· Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or be willing to obtain one.

· A good knowledge or willing to gain knowledge of wines and beers.

Tasks & responsibilities

· Food and drinks running.

· Some bar work.

· Coffee & Tea making.

· Setting up and maintaining cleanliness of restaurant.

· Top level customer service.

· Retaining knowledge of food and wine.

· Waiting tables.

· Impos POS.

· Monitor and ensure clean workplace.
