We are looking for an experienced Workshop and Maintenance specialist who can oversee our workshop teams across civil construction projects within WA.

  • Important leadership role on a 2:1 roster.
  • Attractive remuneration including penalty rates, project incentives, site uplifts, allowances, and leave accrual.
  • Full time role direct with Decmil with a strong pipeline of exciting projects.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will be responsible for the implementation of the workshop and maintenance plan, ensuring all workshop activities are controlled and coordinated to Decmil's and the Client's standards whilst meeting/exceeding quality, time, safety, and profit objectives.

The role has several direct reports and oversees the performance of the Workshop team.

Position Requirements

To be considered, you must have a minimum of ten (10) years of mechanical leadership experience in a mining or construction environment specific to maintaining mobile plant and earthmoving equipment.

You will lead a specialised team providing maintenance support for our road construction projects across regional WA, where we have a large fleet of Dump Trucks, Loaders, Dozers, Tippers, Rollers and Water Carts.

In addition, you will require.

  • Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification
  • Construction White Card (Blue Card)
  • Australian Working Rights (Birth Certificate or Passport)
  • Australian Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & DAS
  • Two professional references within the last 5 years
