The Opportunity:

Become a superhero of movement Mini Monstars seeks energetic Part Time and casual coaches to deliver our signature sports, music, yoga, and gymnastics programs to children aged 0-5yrs. Through play-based learning, you'll help kids build skills, confidence, and lifelong love of activity using tried and tested pre written programs.

Key Competencies & Responsibilities:

  1. Dynamic Leadership & Presence

  2. Command attention with infectious energy while managing groups of up to 20+ children

  3. Adapt coaching style across either sports, yoga, music and gymnastics disciplines

  4. Demonstrate activities with enthusiasm (yes, that means doing the bunny hops)

  5. Safety & Risk Management

  6. Conduct pre-session safety inspections of spaces and equipment

  7. Modify activities for different abilities and environments

  8. Maintain 100% visual supervision of participants at all times

  9. Inclusive Coaching

  10. Create welcoming environments for all skill levels

  11. Implement adaptive strategies for children needing extra support

  12. Celebrate progress through verbal praise and high-fives

  13. Relationship Building

  14. Partner with educators to understand group needs

  15. Collaborate with coaching team to share best practices

  16. Professional Standards

  17. Arrive 10 minutes early in full uniform (branded top + athletic bottoms)

  18. Complete all mandatory training modules/activities
  19. Submit accurate timesheets by fortnightly deadlines

What a shift would look like:

Shift availability is generally divided into two time slots: mornings (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM) and afternoons (12:30 PM to 4:30 PM). However, exact shift durations and timings may change based on session bookings, location, or business requirements. Shifts could be shorter or longer than listed, and at times, you may need to work across both morning and afternoon periods.
