WE ARE SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR A GARDEN AND MAINTENANCE WORKER FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTRES IN MEDOWIE, NEWCASTLE AND MORISSET.

This position is for 22.5 hours per week, over 3 days.

Work car and tools provided.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintaining records of any work and inspections done on-premises
  • Performing inventory on supplies
  • Keeping repair tools and supplies clean and organised
  • Making and installing new furniture or equipment
  • Conducting annual Test and Tag
  • Performing general maintenance tasks for the buildings, such as window washing, drywall repairs, plastering, carpentry, flooring repair, painting and more
  • Performing basic gardening tasks including mowing and whipper snipping.
  • Responding to and completing maintenance requests.

Trade certificate preferred but not essential. Current Employee Working With Children Check required.
