We are a boutique law firm established in St Leonards and CBD. We provide legal services to small to medium-sized businesses and individuals with our commitment to excellence.

Due to the growth in our property practice and the increasing demand for solution in financing matters, we are offering a full-time position for a junior lawyer with work experience in banking and finance and property law. We are eager to see our lawyers to thrive in a supportive and family-friendly environment.

Duties of the role:

· Drafting, reviewing and advising on a variety of commercial and property agreements in NSW;

· Advising on the sale and purchase of property contracts including providing legal advice on contracts, drafting contracts for the sale of land, negotiating changes to the contract, facilitating exchange, arranging searches and preparing for PEXA and paper settlement;

· Advising on banking and financial matters including credit assessment for borrowers, mortgage and security issues, and other cross-border financing transactions; and

· regularly reviewing applicable case law and legislative changes.

Requirements:

· bachelor degree in law, juris doctor or equipment

· At least 2 years legal practice experience in Australia

· Prior work experience in financial institutions is preferred

· Prior work experience in property practice is preferred

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail

· Ability to speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese is preferred

Salary:

$75,000 – $85,000 plus super
