Lead Educator

At Mayfield Early Education in Cairns, we're looking for Lead Educators (Diploma qualified) to join our Centres. Here, you'll be part of a supportive, tight knit team where collaboration, connection, and celebrating wins together are at the heart of everything we do.

As a Lead Educator, you'll:

• Develop and implement a curriculum that fosters holistic growth, laying the foundation for lifelong learning.
• Lead and mentor a team of educators, inspiring them to deliver exceptional care and education every day.
• Build strong relationships with families, ensuring open communication and collaboration to support each child's development.
• Introduce creative teaching methodologies, keeping learning fresh, engaging, and aligned with best practice.
• Be a strong advocate for children, ensuring their needs and interests guide every decision and activity.

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification)
• Valid Blue Card
• Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong understanding of Child Safe Standards
• Knowledge of the EYLF and NQF
• A genuine passion for the early childhood sector and helping children flourish
• Availability 6:00am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.
