Hagstrom Drilling is a privately owned and operated drilling company with a diverse capability and a proven reputation across all sectors we work. With a track record spanning three decades, we have a depth of experience completing national and international projects for mining and exploration companies.

Hagstrom Drilling, are looking for experiencedRC Drillers who have operated Schramm T685/T685i RC drilling rigs or other (i) rigs to join our growing team.

To be successful in this role:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Exploration / Mine RC drilling on Schramm 685/T685i or similar i rigs.
  • Strong capability to lead by example on Drilling, mechanical, training and safety.
  • Ability to adhere strictly to Hagstrom Drilling's Safe Work Policies and Procedures.
  • Self-starting motivated individual that is comfortable to deal professionally with Offsider through to Client / Managing Director, representing the company's best interest at all times.
  • Good with paperwork, meeting deadlines, and running your own "business" in field. Supported by Perth Operations but expected to communicate regularly and demand actions to meet and exceed client requirements and mechanical reliability of fleet.
  • Ability to safely & efficiently adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and enjoy learning new skills.
  • Enjoy working outdoors in a team-focused environment.

Requirements to be considered:

  • HR Drivers Licence (essential).
  • Current First Aid Certification.
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months or able to obtain on request).
  • 4WD Certificate (preferred).
  • Working at Heights (preferred).
  • Drilling, OHS, and T&A Certificates (highly regarded).
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
