The opportunity:
- Full-time.
- Level 4/5 – salary range $64,990-$84,288 per annum depending upon qualifications and experience.
- Located at our Eaton Administration Centre.
We're looking for a motivated and organised individual with excellent attention to detail to join our Governance Team.
In this key role, you'll provide high-level support to our executive team and elected members, including the preparation and recording of Council and Committee meeting agendas and minutes.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate high-quality administrative support and deliver efficient executive assistant services across the organisation.
- Prepare Council and Committee meeting agendas and accurately record minutes.
- Act as the primary point of contact and liaison for Elected Members.
- Support governance functions through detailed research, information analysis, and precise documentation.
- Assist in organising Council meetings, events, and presentations, including preparation for digital meetings.
About you:
- Strong executive support and administration skills, including report preparation, agenda setting, minute-taking, and working independently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Teams.
- Local government experience (desirable)
