Your role within Housing and Homelessness Services will support the department to Develop, implement, deliver and manage learning and development programs for housing and homelessness services. The work you will do helps someone every day, and that means the world to us.
Service Delivery, Housing and Homelessness Services provides a range of services, products and referrals to offer housing solutions for diverse customer groups. You will be operational support to staff in Housing Service Centres, and others involved in the delivery of housing products and services by supporting the development and delivery of a range of training, information sessions and learning and development workshops.
What you will be doing:
• Provide leadership to a team dispersed across Queensland.
• Lead the design, development and delivery of learning and development activities to facilitate effective, consistent, and informative customer service delivery.
• Coordinate the planning, administration, and resources necessary to prepare and deliver learning and development activities within agree timeframes and to specified outcomes.
• Manage small/medium projects directly linked to the development and delivery of training products. outcomes.
• Provide advice on contemporary training practices and methodologies as required by Management, Practice Improvement.
• Evaluate internal and external learning and development activities and regularly monitor feedback to assist improved training methods and outcomes.
• Lead and ensure you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
