Routes: Running to various local locations across Melbourne metro and regional Victoria

Locations: Based in Laverton

Hours: minimum 8 hours per day

What you'll do:

  • Running A-Double combinations

  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.?

  • Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.?

  • Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.?

  • Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.

  • Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.?

What You Will Bring:?

  • A valid HC License with 2 years Australian driving experience.

  • Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.?

  • Sound knowledge of the VIC metro & regional area

  • Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.?

  • Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

  • A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.?

  • BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.

  • Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.??

  • Part of the pre-employment process, you'll be required to successfully complete the Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
