Pearl Home Care Greater Parramatta is looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurses who is passionate about working in Community. This is an interesting and varied position that would suit someone with experience as a Community Nurse.

It would be beneficial to have some experience in Aged Care, community experience, knowledge of government funded packages and consumer directed care.

We are offering casual roles with a view to permanent part-time for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A. Clinical Care and Monitoring

· Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care in line with the client's care plan and assessed needs.

· Conduct regular clinical observations and report changes in client health status.

· Support chronic disease management, wound care, continence care, medication assistance, and other delegated tasks.

· Escalate any clinical concerns or deterioration to the RN promptly.

B. Care Planning and Documentation

· Document all care provided in the client management system in a timely and accurate manner.

· Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and contribute to care plan reviews.

· Support the review of risk assessments and care goals under RN supervision.

C. Medication Administration

· Assist with medication management in accordance with policy and EN scope.

· Monitor medication compliance and side effects, and report concerns to RN.

D. Collaboration and Communication

· Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other health professionals.

· Promote and model wellness, reablement, and supported decision-making.

· Support the client's right to choice, dignity, privacy, and independence.

E. Compliance and Continuous Improvement

· Adhere to the Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies.

· Participate in audits, training, and continuous improvement activities.

· Maintain accurate incident, infection control, and risk management records.

  • Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

· Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in aged care, community, or hospital setting.

· First Aid & CPR (current).

· Valid Driver's Licence and reliable insured vehicle.

· National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening.

· High level of interpersonal and communication skills.

· Sound clinical judgement and problem-solving skills.

· Commitment to professional development and safe practice.

· Respect for diversity and inclusion.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
