Groundsperson - RAAF Base Amberley

We currently have an opportunity for entry level Grounds person . Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in the delivery of day-to-day operational Land Management Services. Reporting to Land Management Coordinator, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You'll Do (key responsibilities)

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Mowing

• Brush cutting

• Edging
• Pruning
• General gardening
• Green waste clearing and removal
• Weed, Pest & Disease control

What You'll Bring (experience required)

• Preferred demonstrable experience in grounds maintenance and experience in operating grounds maintenance equipment
• Able to perform inherent physical requirements of the role
• Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory )
• Vehicle and valid Open Class Drivers Licence
• Medium Rigid Truck Licence (desirable)
• Chainsaw Operators Licence or Certificate (desirable)
• ChemCert Certificate (preferred)
• Asbestos Awareness Certificate (preferred)
