Everyday Psychology is a thoughtfully curated private practice in Carlton North founded and operated by young professionals. We're a small team of psychologists with just four consulting rooms, creating a calm and quiet environment for both clients and practitioners. We're currently seeking a registered psychologist, clinical psychologist, or clinical psychology registrar to join the team. The ideal person will be competent, organised, and reliable, with themotivation to build their business in private practice.

We're proud of the space we've built and want to share it with other like-minded psychologists. Though we work independently, we offer a sense of community and support at the practice, offering monthly peer supervision together.

Our approach is minimalist by design, keeping overheads lower so that you can take home more of what you earn. We have an intake coordinator who manages referrals, triage, and ensures all forms and payment details are in place before the client's first appointment. Beyond this, you'll manage your own admin independently, with streamlined systems and shared resources to make it simple.

We provide everything you need to succeed in private practice, including full training in Halaxy client software, which comes with a Telehealth platform at no extra cost. To simplify administrative tasks, we offer templates for GP letters, case notes, and other documentation. You'll also receive ongoing support and guidance throughout your time at Everyday Psychology.

Essential Criteria

  • Current general registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  • Working with Children's Check (WWCC)

  • Current professional indemnity insurance or willingness to obtain

  • Experience in evidence-based psychological interventions

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working within a previous private practice setting

  • Interest in working on Saturdays or Sundays (can be a short 2-3 hour shift)

  • Experience or interest in working with Eating Disorders

Exclusion Criteria

  • We are not accepting applications from provisional psychologists or psychologists looking to provide Telehealth services from interstate.
