You are equally at home building strong partnerships locally, nationally, and internationally, connecting your expertise with real world opportunities and outcomes. Above all, you are someone who contributes to a positive, collaborative, and ambitious academic environment, helping shape the future of your discipline and empower students to thrive.

You will possess:

  • A doctoral qualification in Sport Management or a related business field with expertise in governance, events, tourism, sport development, policy, or related areas.
  • Proven ability to design and lead student-centred, globally connected programs that inspire and prepare students for careers in sport, tourism, leisure, and events management.
  • A strong commitment to student success through innovative, inclusive teaching, authentic industry experiences, and online or blended learning approaches.
  • A track record of research excellence and scholarship, with high-quality publications and successful supervision of Higher Degree by Research students.
  • Experience building and sustaining partnerships with national and international sporting organisations, federations, clubs, or mega-event committees to enhance learning, teaching, and research.
