Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in the Blue Mountains, NSW, for a High School Maths and STEM Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons in mathematics and STEM subjects. Daily tasks include developing curriculum materials, assessing student progress, providing individualized instruction, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance educational programs. The role also involves inspiring students to pursue academic and creative interests within the STEM fields.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Mathematics and STEM subjects and ability to teach these at high school level
  • Expertise in developing lesson plans and curriculum materials
  • Ability to assess and track student progress effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff and engage with students
  • Experience in integrating technology into teaching methods
  • Passion for fostering academic and creative growth in students
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, STEM, or a related field required
  • Teaching certification is required.
