Recreational Aviation Australia (RAAus) is the peak body in Australia responsible for administering ultralight, recreational, Light Sport and Lightweight Aircraft operations, training and certifying pilots (9,500 flying members), flying instructors (460) and maintainers Additionally, we also register and administer airworthiness of a fleet of 3,200 aircraft, oversee the operations of 160 flight training schools throughout the country and support 50 Aero Clubs.

We're seeking a dynamic and creative professional to join our team as a Marketing Engagement and Communications Advisor. This pivotal role is ideal for someone who is passionate about connecting with audiences, crafting compelling narratives, and enhancing brand presence across various channels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for digital media, member engagement, and strategic marketing? RAAus is seeking a proactive and creative professional to lead the development and delivery of our communication and marketing strategies.

In this diverse role, you will:

  • Drive internal and external communications to ensure a professional and consistent brand voice.

  • Manage and grow RAAus' social media presence and digital platforms.

  • Lead website and Member Portal content and functionality enhancements.

  • Collaborate on a whole-of-business Marketing Strategy aligned with organisational goals.

  • Analyse and refine digital engagement to maximise reach and effectiveness.

  • Coordinate member surveys, events, and stakeholder communications.

  • Support marketing campaigns, content creation, supplier management, and online services.

  • Represent RAAus at key aviation events and contribute to strategic initiatives.
