The Banana Home team is looking for a full-time member to join the customer care + delivery administration family Our ideal candidate is self-driven, friendly and has a 'can-do' attitude, who would work well in a fast paced environment and is able work with a dynamic and fun team. We are fast-growing online furniture business looking to expand our team Banana Home prides itself on being a young, vibrant, and fast-growing business.

This role holds an exciting opportunity to support our customers whilst working in a passionate team.

What this role entails

A Customer Service & Retail Sales person conducts various tasks including but not limited too

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Meet and exceed company targets
  • Assist with daily store operations and housekeeping
  • Efficiently and effectively handle customer service inquiries
  • Working with an easy to use, yet fast moving and dynamic 'backend'
  • Being able to complete problem solving skills and conduct basic administrative tasks to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly

Who you are

· Previous retail sales experience

· Takes initiative

· Have excellent written and spoken English

· Thrive in a team environment but also work autonomously

· Must be available to work most weekends

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate: The role will base you across our two locations in:

  • South Melbourne, VIC 3205: Showroom
  • North Geelong, VIC 3215: Head Office
  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
  • We reimburse for travel costs between the two location's.

Experience:

  • Inbound call centre: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Retail Showroom Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 38 per week
