Job Title: Roller Shutter Door Installer

Location: Melbourne, Victoria

Employment Type: Full-time immediate start


Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roller Shutter Door Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial/industrial/domestic doors including roller shutter doors, roller doors, sectional overhead doors, tilt doors, swing gates, slide gates, bi-folds.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and repairs to roller shutter doors, sectional doors, roller doors.
  • Operate power tools and lifting equipment safely and effectively.
  • Inspect completed installations for compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs as required.
  • Communicate with customers and team members to ensure smooth project completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and relevant health & safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience installing and repairing roller shutter doors
  • Strong technical and problem-solving abilities in mechanical and electrical areas.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately.
  • Hold a current heavy duty manual driver's licence, forklift and EWP licence
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials and equipment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites.

Desirable (Preferred):

  • Forklift, EWP license, White card
  • Working with Children check
  • Mechanical knowledge, welding and experience with power tools
