We are currently seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our Civil Resources Division, based on site in Pilbara on a 2/1 roster. In this role, you will play a key part in driving environmental compliance and sustainability across project operations. You will provide accurate environmental advice and direction to ensure adherence to project, client, and legislative requirements, while promoting a proactive culture of environmental responsibility across the workforce.

To be considered for this position as an Environmental Advisor you must possess the following as a minimum:

  • Environmental Qualification / Degree
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within the Civil or Mining sectors
  • Effectively communicating environmental requirements providing accurate direction and advice
  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety (desirable)
  • Experience in Health and Safety on a Civil Project (desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, liaising with all levels of the workforce and our clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

As an Environmental Advisor on our site you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Implementation of project specific environmental management plans
  • Environmental risk assessment of project activities
  • Applying for and implementing ground disturbance permits and programs
  • Monitoring and reporting on environmental performance
  • Conducting project environmental inspections and audits
  • Clearly communicating project environmental requirements to all levels of the project team
