The Opportunity – Environmental Advisor

Are you passionate about protecting the environment and driving safe work practices? Join ART, where safety, sustainability, and integrity are at the heart of everything we do.

We are seeking a motivated HSE Advisor to provide specialist environmental support and advice across projects, fabrication workshops, and field operations. This is a primarily office-based role working closely with project managers and supervisors to ensure compliance with legislation and minimise environmental impacts.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental assessments, audits, and some site inspections (approximately once per month).
  • Advise project and operational teams on environmental management plans.
  • Analyse incidents and audit data, recommending improvements.
  • Coach and mentor supervisors and employees on HSE practices.
  • Promote a strong safety and sustainability culture across the business.

What You Bring to the Team

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in an environmental/HSE role.
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental and HSE legislation, standards, and systems.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, and environmental monitoring.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • White Card (Construction Induction) and current driver's licence.
  • (Desirable) Certificate IV in WHS and/or ICAM investigation experience.
